The live show takes approximately 1h 30 min. without interruption, with a training of 23 artists, composed of Argentine musicians, flamenco musicians and dancers, the musical and choreographic language evolves from flamenco dancing and is giving rise to more
tango cadences, reaching the climax of the fusion between Argentine tango and Spanish Dance.
TANGO FLAMENCO succeeds worldwide and has seduced audiences in many countries since its premiere in December 2002. The show has received high praise from the press and the public, qualifying the show as one of the best dance shows of the moment
In this new creation, I wanted again to present a great life show with 22 artists, composed of oriental musicians, flamenco musicians and dancers, where my choreographic language evolves from Spanish and flamenco dancing to the broad dance language of the different oriental cultures, inspired by the original compositions of excellent musicians, rich in rhythms and flamenco, Egyptian, Arab, Indian, Turkish….
and reaching the climax of the fusion between oriental dance and Spanish dance.
The productions «TANGO FLAMENCO» and «FLAMENCORIENTAL» have been presented and continue to be presented with great success by the press and the public in many countries, which has allowed the consolidation of Antonio Najarro’s work as one of the greatest exponents of Classical – Spanish Dance and Flamenco both inside and outside of Spain.
This pushes the choreographer to create a new show, called Suite Sevilla, in which the Spanish Classical Dance serves as a guide fused with the new avant-garde trends both musical and dance that characterize and govern his personal style as creator.
In «SUITE SEVILLA», Antonio Najarro has seven live musicians who interpret the extraordinary original score by Rafael Riqueni, one of the most important Spanish composers of our time, as well as Miguel Rivera.
The musical adaptation is in charge of Omar Acosta. Rafael Riqueni’s score captures aromas, traditional, longing and nostalgia. In it, the Flamenco guitar converges along with the rest of instruments describing Andalusian landscapes.
Since this longing and nostalgia was conceived, since it was in Madrid where it was composed. The remoteness and longing made Seville more beautiful in the eyes of the mind of Riqueni, a colorful city, which would be framed within the movement called Musical Nationalism
